In short: this website does not set cookies, does not use any analytics or tracking tools and does not embed content from external providers. Fonts and all files are delivered directly from our own server.

2. Hosting and server log files

When you visit this website, the web server automatically processes information that your browser transmits: IP address, date and time of the request, page or file requested, referrer URL, browser type and version, and operating system. This data is technically necessary to deliver the website and to ensure its security and stability.

The website is operated technically by kalucare GmbH, Schwarze-Pumpe-Weg 16, 12681 Berlin, Germany, and runs on a server provided by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Hetzner.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in providing the website securely and without errors. The log files are not combined with other data sources. They are deleted automatically after 14 days, unless they are needed to investigate a specific security incident; in that case they are kept until the incident has been resolved.

3. Cookies and local storage

We do not set any cookies. If you use the “Larger text” function, your browser stores this setting locally on your device (local storage) so that it is kept for your next visit. This information is not transmitted to us and can be deleted at any time in your browser settings. It is only stored at your express request (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG, German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act).

4. Contact by email

If you contact us by email, we process your enquiry, including any personal data you provide, in order to deal with your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your enquiry relates to a contract, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We do not pass this data on without your consent. It is deleted as soon as your enquiry has been dealt with and no statutory retention obligations apply.

5. SSL/TLS encryption

For security reasons, this site uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by “https://” in your browser’s address bar.

6. Your rights

You have the right at any time to obtain information free of charge about the origin, recipients and purpose of your stored personal data (Art. 15 GDPR), as well as the right to rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20 GDPR).

Where processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you have the right to object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR).

In the event of infringements of the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of your habitual residence, place of work or place of the alleged infringement. The authority responsible for us is the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit).
